Alyssa Kerr

Physiotherapist

Alyssa in an APA registered physiotherapist who graduated from La Trobe University (Melbourne) in 1995. She has completed post graduate studies in Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, and brings a wealth of experience to her role at Eternal Women’s Health. 

Alyssa has a wide range of knowledge, experience and skills, with special interest in the acute and ongoing management of pelvic floor dysfunction. She provides care for women during pregnancy, immediately following birth and in the early postnatal stage. Alyssa also cares for women with bladder and/or bowel incontinence, pelvic floor prolapse, vaginismus, sexual dysfunction and pelvic pain. 

Alyssa works at Eternal on Thursdays, and also has an ongoing contract at Hobart Private Hospital, providing inpatient care on the ward.

Annabel Butler

Physiotherapist

Annabel joined Eternal Women’s Health in 2020. Originally from Hobart, Annabel moved to Melbourne to study two undergraduate degrees in Sports Therapy and Exercise and Sports Science, before completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. 

Annabel subsequently completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy (Pelvic Floor Physio) through the University of Melbourne, which included training in pilates, Women’s Health, Bowel Management and Pelvic Floor Exercise Education. Annabel is qualified and experienced in the care of lactating breast conditions, incorporating ultrasound and adjunct therapies to treat mastitis. 

Annabel has developed a keen interest in women’s health, specifically pre and postnatal care, pelvic pain and post surgical recovery. Annabel works at Eternal Women’s Health on Fridays and also has an ongoing contract at Hobart Private Hospital, providing inpatient care on the ward.  

Annabel and her police-officer husband Will have two young children. In her spare time Annabel enjoys playing hockey and spending time with friends.

Janet Fraser

Physiotherapist

Janet has been working as a physiotherapist for 30 years and has gained a broad range of experience, working in Sydney, London and remote areas of central Australia, before settling in Tasmania. 

After working in antenatal education at the Royal Hobart Hospital she developed a love for women’s health and went on to complete a post-graduate certificate in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Janet has now worked as a pelvic floor physiotherapist for over 10 years. 

Janet is committed to providing sensitive and quality care with an individualised approach. To ensure that patient care is evidence based, she regularly attends courses and conferences. In 2018 Janet completed a professional certificate in Prolapse Management (University of South Australia) and is qualified to offer vaginal pessary fitting and management. Janet consults at Eternal on Monday, and offers pregnancy education classes each Monday evening. 

Janet lives in South Hobart with her family and loves gardening, cooking and bushwalking.
